Day 1: July 11, 2026
Your journey begins with a flight departing from the USA to Reykjavik, Iceland.
Day 2: July 12, 2026
Upon arrival at Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, a private driver will meet you and take you to the Viking World Museum cafe for a Scandinavian breakfast. Afterward, you'll travel to the Blue Lagoon to experience the geothermal seawater before heading to your hotel in Reykjavik for the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Day 3: July 13, 2026
The morning is free for you to enjoy. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride on "Old Skuli" to Akurey, or "puffin island," to see puffins and other birdlife. During the ride, your guide will share information about the islands and buildings visible from the ocean.
Day 4: July 14, 2026
Today's excursion takes you to the South Shore, where you will see the waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. You can also walk on the black sand beach of Reynisfjara and visit the Skógar Folk Museum to learn about Icelandic life from the settlement period to modern times. The day concludes with a walk through the village of Vík before returning to Reykjavik.
Day 5: July 15, 2026
You'll embark on a full-day tour of the Golden Circle. The tour includes visits to Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir Area, where you'll see the Strokkur geyser erupting hot water more than 40 feet into the air. You will also discover Þingvellir National Park, which is home to Iceland's ancient assembly and two tectonic plates. Other highlights include a stop at the Fontana Geothermal Bakery and a relaxing soak in the geothermal waters of Laugarás Lagoon.
Day 6: July 16, 2026
The day is dedicated to a city tour of Reykjavik. You'll see several landmarks, including the Sun Voyager sculpture, Harpa Concert Hall, and the Parliament of Iceland (Alþingi). You'll also visit Reykjavik City Hall, built on the edge of Tjörnin pond, and Hallgrímskirkja, a church inspired by basalt lava flows. The tour also includes a visit to Perlan, a glass-domed landmark with a viewing platform, a volcanic eruption simulation at the Lava Show, and a flight-simulating film experience.
Day 7: July 17, 2026
The morning is free. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Sky Lagoon, a geothermal spa with views of the North Atlantic Ocean. There, you will experience the Skjól Ritual before returning to your hotel to pack for your departure.
Day 8: July 18, 2026
Your vacation concludes with a transfer to the airport for your flight home.
